Tillamook Drift Boat Guide Rob Gerlitz
Rob has had a strong passion for fishing since the early 70’s and it hasn’t let up. He has been in the fishing industry since 2006. In the summer you can find him running a charter boat fishing for bottom fish, lingcod, halibut, tuna and salmon.
For nearly a decade Rob has spent the winters commercial crabbing. But is now focusing his career in the winter chasing Salmon and Steelhead in his drift boat, helping his guests land big fish and big smiles. When not on the water fishing, Rob joins his girlfriend Becca raising their young son Brysen. Being a family man, Rob encourages families with kids to join him in a fishing adventure for memories to last a lifetime.
Rob is a U.S. Coastguard certified captain holding a 50 ton master vessel operators license, a guide license in Oregon and Alaska. And is certified in first aide and CPR.

As your Oregon fishing guide, Bob will give you his all-out effort every time while fishing for salmon or sturgeon on Oregon’s rivers from his comfortable twenty-two foot jet sled, or leisurely drift fishing trip down a beautiful Oregon north coast river for ocean fresh steelhead or salmon.
Bob is a native Oregonian and has successfully guided fishing trips with beginning and expert anglers fishing in Oregon and Alaska waters since 1991.
He has fished Oregon rivers and the Pacific Ocean since 1978 and is willing to share his secrets and techniques to guide you into fish. Your catch will be cared for from the time it hits the net to ensure the freshest and healthiest meal for you to enjoy after your fishing trip is complete.
